Simon Gallagher

Bachelor’s degree in Media from La Trobe UniversitySimon Gallagher is an entertainment and investment executive with 25 years international experience representing the world’s leading entertainment brands including Netflix, Hulu, News Corp, IMG, Wasserman, and Village Roadshow. He currently consults to organizations globally through his private consulting and investment company SPG Global and in association with Asena Advisors.
Simon has had over 135 consulting clients in 20 countries including the world’s leading media companies, investment funds and consulting firms. In 2020 he co-founded a Global Public Equities Entertainment Technology Fund with TCW, one of the world’s leading fund managers.
He has licensed more than $500m in media rights during his career and raised nearly $1b in capital.
As a member of the advisory board, he works with the team to analyze proprietary investment opportunities for the Asena Family Office and partnership opportunities for the firm’s clients.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Media from La Trobe University in Australia and is a regular industry commentator on global media networks CNBC, the BBC and Sky News. He lives in Pacific Palisades, California, with his wife and two children.
